Lake Ontario

I have been researching Lake Ontario for my reasearch project. The project will include the average depths of the lake, the total area of the lake and the total length of the coastline. I will find all of these by tracing a navigatinal chart of the lake and using grids determin the area of the lake. Then inside the quadrents I will take the depths given and average them. From those two data points I will be able to calculate the total volume of the lake. I can then compare it with the actual numbers and see how close I got. I will also reasearch the geology, morphometry and enviroment surrounding the lake, and how the lake was formed.
