1. Lady Bird
   Review: Wow! An amazing directional debut by Gretta Gerwig which explores the transition from childhood to adulthood in this semi-autographical story.
2. The Shape of Water
   Review: A very well-directed and well-acted movie by Guillermo del Toro. Great cinematography as well!
3. Call Me by Your Name
   Review: Well written and acted. Nothing much more to say beyond that.
4. Get Out
   Review: Another great directional debut this year! Jordan Peele did a great job directing an writing this film. It has great social-satire as well.
5. Dunkirk
   Review: Great direction by Nolan. The characters could have been fleshed out a little bit more but besides that it was riviting.
6. Phantom Thread
   Review: Another great performance by Daniel Day Lewis. It's sad that this is his final film.
7. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
   Review: Well written and great performances by McDormand, Harrelson, and Rockwell. The performances by Cornish and Hedges were somewhat mediocre though.
8. The Post
   Review: It's well directed and acted, as we've come to expect with names like Streep, Hanks, and Spielberg. However, at this point I feel like I've seen these bio pics too much.
9. Darkest Hour
   Review: Good performance by Oldman. Pretty boring though.
