   Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is one of the first steam games I have every bought. I remember when I first got it over Winter break. A steam sale was going on and I decided to get the at the same time as Starbound, wanting to play Starbound first. I booted the game up since starbound was still downloading and spent the ten hours tending to my farm. For the next few weeks, I played the game for hours, staying up to 1am.

The game was really smoothing and relaxing. I could turn the game on at anytime and I would clam down. Everything about the game is beatiful and well-crafted. It is hard to blieve that Concerned Ape, the developer, only has one member, Eric Barone. The amount of work that he needed to put in this get the game this level is insane. The presentation is amazing. The pixel based graphic of the game look great and the soundtrack is one of my favorite video game OSTs every.
The main character (you) is feed up with their enslaving job and travels to Stardew Valley to live on a farm they inherited from their grandfather. Farming isn't the only way they can make money, fishing, mining and forging also reep rewards. The town of Stardew Valley is filled with many different people and characters. Farming isn't really the main focus of the game, I think the main character's relationship with the town and the different people in Stardew Valley take center stage.

Gameplay wise, Stardew Valley is really diverse. The gameplay ideal is farming and taking care of the farm. You do this by chopping trees and clearing the farmlands, and then plants and watering plants. The plants tell product fruits and vegetables that you can sell or make into dishes to sell. There is also a mine where you can descent down and find minerals and rocks needed to make certain items and upgrade buildings. There is also fishing and interacting with the NPCs in town. There is always something to do in Stardew Valley; however, doing the same thing gets really repetitive.
Stardew Valley will forever hold a place in my heart for its cozy atmosphere and its gameplay. I see it as a modern masterpiece and a game I want to continue playing for the years come.I highly recommend this game, even if you aren't really into farm and rpg games.
